Julie had about one and a half hours left of her shift and by this time, she usually resorted to speaking to bar patrons to keep herself entertained. She was in the middle of talking to some twenty-five year old web designer who just got out of a serious relationship and had two kids (one kid? three kids? she stopped paying attention at 'got out of a serious relationship') when she spotted someone familiar (and a hell of a lot more interesting than whatshisface) walk into the bar.

She watched him order his drink and excused herself from the conversation and walked over to his side of the bar, leaning over the counter at him with the hugest smirk in the entire world plastered to her face.

"Didn't you read the sign by the front, Montgomery? No pets allowed in this bar."

She was repressing a laugh and pretended to wipe the kiss from her cheek, feigning a disgusted expression but her face slowly broke out into a grin and she turned to go get him a beer, choosing the ignore the princess bit.

Befriending Julie usually meant free drinks at the bar and that went without saying for the pack (she's gotten yelled at half a dozen times by her boss but she's gotten sneakier about it.) She seriously considered charging Landon though, because while he was a dick, she was probably an even bigger dick.

"You're starting to get a beer gut," she lied, sliding his drink to him from across the bar. Julie propped herself in front of him, her elbows on the counter, blinking rapidly back at him with those huge buggy eyes of her, this bored expression on her face. "So. How's your day been?"

"Put that away, you'll scare off the customers," Julie laughed, shooting him a sidelong smirk. Landon could be positively juvenile sometimes, which was the precise reason she liked keeping him around. It was like hanging out with a taller, scruffier male version of herself, one who could actually handle his liquor unlike her hot mess self.

Julie shook her head and shot him a sympathetic look. Those two. They were impossible, always fighting and bickering and then getting back together and it was difficult for everyone to keep up but it wasn't her business or her place to judge. "Nut up, Montgomery and get your own place. Either that or move in with me," she joked. That idea in itself was preposterous because the apartment would probably be burned down by next week.

"Hey, they're not filth! They just have...character," she finished, glancing over at the old men sitting at the end of the bar. Okay, so maybe they were a little creepy and could use a shower or two, but they were regulars so Julie appreciated having them there. Especially because they were the difference between her having hot water that month or not.

"Nope. No way in hell. I was kidding, you jackass," she laughed, throwing one of the dirty bar rags at him and grinning in satisfaction when it hit him in the face. Julie did feel bad that Landon was back living at his parents' house, but not bad enough to offer up her apartment. It was cramped enough with her and her two dogs and one cat, let alone a six-foot giant werewolf who probably kept the toliet seat up and left his underwear all over the place.

Epic plotting is a must, expecially with pack members!! And I see that Landon is bffs with Cash, who Troy is also going to have a pretty close relationship with. So what's Mr. Montgomery like?

"You leave Willy alone," she said, struggling to hold back a grin, her gaze flickering over to Landon and then to the bedraggled man waving back at him before rolling her eyes at the whole exchange. If anyone was a suck-up, it was Landon milking his high school football career to get old men to buy him beer when he was a teenager (not that 15-year-old Julie was above flashing a little cleavage or some leg to get a cranberry vodka back in the day, but now was not a time to bring that up)

She raised a brow at him, her arms still braced against the bar counter, and leaned so close that she could practically count the individual hairs that lined his jaw and the few freckles that rippled across his nose. "Landon, if you move in, I'm going to dye all of your clothes pink and blast terrible opera music every single morning, it won't be pretty," she smirked, glaring at him through dark lashes and about three coats of mascara.

"Fifteen minutes or so? I still have to clean up, though, but that shouldn't take too long," she said, snatching up his empty beer bottle and going to get him another one. If they were stuck here for a little bit longer, a few more drinks wouldn't hurt. Julie and Landon go all the way back to high school but if it wasn't for the pack, she doubted they would've interacted much aside from the occasional drunken hook up at parties. He was first-string quarterback and the guy every girl wanted while she was more honor roll and hanging out at the stoner pit and getting drunk in school parking lots. Julie remembers slowly climbing the social ladder (especially after getting boobs in the tenth grade, a guy in her Biology actually asked if she was a new student) and shedding her good-girl image, but she was never homecoming queen or anything.

"Drink up. No need to con Willy out of a another beer, I think you still owe him for all of high school," she grinned.

Ahhh Landon sounds amazing! I definitely have no doubt in my mind that they would get along, and if anything, I can totally see Troy having occasionally landed in some trouble with Landon (because Cash clearly doesn't already have a lot going on with being Alpha and all xDD).

But Troy is a total sweetheart. He's still a tad bit on the quiet side and doesn't really like being the center of attention. So usually, he's pretty laid back and just likes going with the flow of things. He came to Ashwick when he was only sixteen after running away from home and Cash actually took him in and mentored/taught him the ropes on being a werewolf and all that jazz. So I think we can safely say that Landon was one of the first few people Troy really got to know thanks to Cash. And if anything, I think Landon was able to help bring him out of his shell over the years. So at this point in time, I can actually see these two being total bros and occasionally making Cash's life a little harder xD
